Theis Farm Market’s Evergreen Farm & Katie’s Garden
"Quality, Homegrown Vegetables And Fruits At An Affordable Price"
About Us
A 5th Generation Heritage in Northern Illinois
The story of Evergreen Farm, Yorkville is a masterclass in American agricultural heritage. Established in 1957 by Ray and Anita Theis, the farm began as a vital contributor to the regional food supply, providing high-quality tomatoes for the Campbell Soup Company and pickles for Del Monte. This deep-rooted history transitioned through the decades under the stewardship of Steve and Kathy Theis, who, alongside their children, transformed the acreage into a premier destination for local horticulture and produce.
In January 2025, the farm entered its newest chapter. Steve’s cousin, Rob Pondelick-Theis (Theis Market/Maple Park), and his fiancé, Katie, took the helm. As the new owners of this historic flower and vegetable farm, Rob and Katie are blending nearly 70 years of family tradition with a passionate, modern vision for Katie’s Garden.
Three Seasons of Growing Excellence.
Evergreen Farm operates as a premier three-season destination (Mid-April through October), serving as a community hub for Yorkville, Aurora, Oswego, Naperville, and the surrounding Fox Valley region.
